Alicante (mythology)

The Alicante is a mythical Mexican snake that is believed to drink breast milk from all mammals, although its main prey is human women. It is mentioned to possibly 'impregnate' women, or use their stomach as a living space, often entering vaginally.

Alicantes are known to not only use their rattle to hypnotize the child of its victim, but also as a pacifier. Unlike most snakes, this snake moves around in an upright, erect position.
