History

The journal was established in 2018, when the editorial board of the Springer Science+Business Media Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics resigned to protest the publisher's high prices and limited accessibility.[1][2] The board criticized Springer for "double-dipping", that is, charging large subscription fees to libraries in addition to high fees for authors who wished to make their publications open access.[3]

Abstracting and indexing

The journal is abstracted and indexed in Mathematical Reviews and Zentralblatt Math.[4]

gollark: RAM or disk?
gollark: 1.7 is better-optimized for RAM use, which is nice.
gollark: We should probably use <#382732052287717377>.
gollark: 1.12.
gollark: It's a custom one I'm running.
