Aleksandr Maksimenkov

Aleksandr Ivanovich Maksimenkov (Russian: Александр Иванович Максименков; 17 August 1952 – 7 September 2012) was a Soviet football player and a Russian coach.

International career

Maksimenkov made his debut for USSR on 20 March 1977, in a friendly against Tunisia and scored in that game. He played in 1978 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and in one UEFA Euro 1980 qualifier (USSR did not qualify for the final tournament for either).
