Akalya Venkatesan

Akalya Venkatesan is an Indian anchor, video jockey and actress who works in Tamil-language television shows and films. She is known for hosting several shows on the comedy channel Adithya TV.[1]

Career

After starring in the television serial Office, Akalya went on to work as an anchor for shows on different television channels including Adithya TV.[2] In 2015, she hosted the Adhitya TV's Oru Naal VJ, in which people can apply to become a video jockey for a single day.[3] She starred with Doubt Senthil in Maamoi Neenga Enga Irukeenga, a television shows that highlights the stuggles between a husband and wife in a comedic manner and a worked with Senthil again in the comedy show Vaalu Pasanga.[2] She made her feature film debut with Devarattam (2019) before starring in Dharala Prabhu (2020).[4][1]
