Aiko Sugihara

Aiko Sugihara (杉原 愛子, Sugihara Aiko, born (1999-09-19)19 September 1999)[2] is a Japanese female artistic gymnast and a member of the national team.[1] She participated at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow.[1][3] She was a member of Japan's gymnastic team at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[1][4] At the 2017 World Championships in the all-around final, Aiko Sugihara successfully debuted a new turn, a double turn with the leg held in split, on the balance beam. It should be named after her if the FIG credits the skill.
