Agonopterix mendesi

Agonopterix mendesi is a moth of the family Depressariidae which is endemic to Portugal.[1]

The wingspan is 18–20 mm. The forewings are ochreous with a dark fuscous spot near the dorsal side of the base and with a scattering of greyish fuscous and ochreous brown scales, forming small spots at the vein ends. The hindwings are whitish, weakly tinged with ochreous.[2]

The larvae feed on Centaurea sphaerocephala.[3]
