Agave (mythology)

In Greek mythology, Agave (/ˈæɡəviː/; Ancient Greek: Ἀγαύη, Agauē, "illustrious") may refer to the following characters:

• Agave, one of the Nereids.[1][2][3][4]
• Agave, one of the Danaïdes, daughter of Danaus, king of Libya and Europa, a queen. She married Lycus, son of Aegyptus and Argyphia.[5]
• Agave, daughter of Cadmus.[6]
• Agave, an Amazon.[7]
