Soundtrack

The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja and lyrics were written by Gangai Amaran, Vallabhan and Muthulingam.[2] The song "Edho Ninaivugal" was well received and the song was adapted from "Bhanu Bhoomiya", which Raja had composed for the Kannada film Maathu Tappada Maga (1978). The song is based on Sumanesa Ranjani raga.[3]
