Afazuddin Fakir
Afazuddin Fakir is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Tangail-2.

Career
Fakir was the member of the National committee. He had sent a letter to President of Pakistan, Yahya Khan, asking him to deescalate the situation in East Pakistan on 13 March 1971 before the start of Bangladesh Liberation war.[1][2] He was elected to parliament from Tangail-2 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1979.[3]
