Adrian Lewis Morgan

Adrian Lewis Morgan (born 15 February 1973)[1] is a Welsh actor, known for portraying the role of Jimmi Clay in the BBC soap opera Doctors. Having appeared since 2005, he is the longest serving cast member on Doctors.[2]

Early life

Morgan was born in Beddau on 15 February 1972,[3] and has one sister.[4] Morgan attended Llantwit Fardne School, and later graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.[2] At the age of 17, Morgan worked in a hotel serving breakfasts, but left the job after two weeks.[1] In 1998, Morgan was involved in a car accident.[3]

Career

Morgan's first role was as Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd at the Royal National Theatre.[5] During his theatre career, he starred in various West End productions, including: Marius in Les Misérables; Roger in Rent; and Judas/Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar.[3] From 2001 to 2002, he appeared in the BBC medical drama Holby City as Liam Evans.[6] Since 2005, he has portrayed the role of Jimmi Clay in the BBC daytime soap Doctors.[7] He is the longest serving cast member on Doctors.[2]
