Adoretus sinicus or the Chinese rose beetle is a scarab beetle, and a member of the genus Adoretus, subgenus Adoretus.

Damage caused by feeding
In Oʻahu it feeds on the indigenous ʻakiohala (Hibiscus furcellatus)[1] and maʻo hau hele (Hibiscus brackenridgei).
