The Administrative Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Spanish: Departamento Administrativo de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación), also known as Colciencias, is a Colombian government agency that supports fundamental and applied research in Colombia.

Colciencias runs Publindex, the National Abstracting and Indexing System for Serial Publications in Science, Technology and Innovation (Spanish: Sistema Nacional de Indexación de Publicaciones Especializadas de Ciencia, Tecnología e innovación), which is a ranking of academic journals in four categories (C, B, A2, and A1).[2]


gollark: Android… doesn't have adverts in it as far as I know? Are you just buying from terrible companies or installing adware or something?
gollark: The new ones have very good but utterly unrepairable and crazily locked down processors.
gollark: Google play store having annoying rules is vaguely okay since you can sideload. Apple do not allow this.
gollark: I agree; they have neat tech but it's horribly proprietary.
gollark: Discord is real time and actually has honest/explicit filter bubbles instead of just *silently* showing you only certain stuff.
