Aditya Seal

Aditya Seal (born 22 March 1988 ) is an Indian model, film and television actor.[1] He made his film debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story, where he played a teenager opposite Manisha Koirala.[2] He went on to play Shekhar Malhotra in Tum Bin II, Sam in Namaste England, Samuel in Purani Jeans, Randhawa in Student of the Year 2 and Veer Shergill in Fittrat.

Early life

Seal's father Ravi Seal is a Bengali born to a Bengali father while his mother is Punjabi.[3] His father produced and acted in a Garhwali film, but he wanted to be a professional cricketer, before an injury aborted the option, so he followed his father's footsteps.[4]

Seal is a world Taekwondo champion.[5] He started off his career as a model, working for many advertisements.

Career

Seal made his film debut with Ek Chhotisi Love Story, where he played a teenager opposite Manisha Koirala.[2] He also starred in movie We R Friends in 2006. In Purani Jeans, he played the role of Samuel Lawrence. In 2016, Seal was seen in Anubhav Sinha's Tum Bin II as Shekhar opposite Neha Sharma.[6]

In 2019, he played Manav Randhawa in Student of the Year 2.[7] Next, he portrayed Veer Shergill in Alt Balaji's Fittrat opposite Krystle D'Souza.

As SOTY 2 completes a year, Aditya Seal recalls that he and Tiger Shroff were actually blowing punches at each other to make the scene look more realistic.[8] He looks forward to his upcoming movie Indoo Ki Jawaani and wishes to do Fitrat 2.
