Abudefduf septemfasciatus, or banded sergeant, is a fish species in the family of the Pomacentridae in the order of the Perciformes.

Morphology

The males can reach 23 cm of length.[3]

Habitat

The banded sergeant is a non-migratory marine fish associated with reefs found in depths of 0 – 3 m[4]

Geographic distribution

Found from East Africa to Line Islands, the Tuamotu, south of Japan and south of the Great Barrier Reef.
