Abubakar Arsamakov

Abubakar Alazovich Arsamakov (Russian: Абубака́р Ала́зович Арсама́ков) is a Russian Banker of Chechen descent, He has been the president of the Moscow Industrial Bank since 1998. Under his presidency the Moscow Industrial Bank has grown to be one of Russia's biggest banks.[2]

Career

Abubakar is a member of the Bank of Russia group working on lending to agricultural enterprises.[2]

He is Vice-president of the Free Economic Society and a member of the public advisory council on coordination between the Moscow government with credit organizations.[2]

At different times he has voluntarily been an adviser on economic issues to the chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and the mayor of Moscow.[2]
