Aangan (novel)

Aangan (/ˈɑːŋɡən/; Urdu: آنگن, lit. 'Courtyard') is an Urdu novel by renowned Pakistani novelist Khadija Mastoor and is one of the her most popular novels. It was published in 1962 and won the Adamjee Literary Award in the same year.[2] It has been translated into 13 languages. An English translation of the novel called The Women's Courtyard was published in 2018.[3] A Pakistani TV series adaptation of the novel starring Mawra Hocane, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan and Sajal Aly was aired on Hum TV from 2018 to 2019.[4]
