"A far l'amore comincia tu" is a song by Italian singer Raffaella Carrà. It was originally released in 1976 on a single as the B-side to "Forte forte forte". (In some editions/countries "A far l'amore comincia tu" was the A-side).

The song became a big national and international hit (translated into several languages including Spanish, German, French and English).

Other Versions And Covers

The song "A Far L'Amore Comincia Tu" was recorded by Raffaella Carrà in Spanish as "En El Amor Todo Es Empezar", in German as "Liebelei", in French as "Puisque Tu L'Aimes Dis Le Lui", and in English as "Do It, Do It Again". "Do It, Do It Again" was Carrà's only entry on the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 9.[1]

In 1977, German singer Tony Holiday covered the song, retitled "Tanze Samba mit Mir" ("Dance the Samba With Me"). The song quickly became a hit in both Germany and Austria, peaking at No. 4 on the German music charts[2] and reaching the Top 20 on the Austrian music charts.[3]

"A far l'amore comincia tu" has also been covered in Turkish by a Turkish popstar Ajda Pekkan as "Sakın Ha" in 1977.

In 1977, Carlie Bergmann, covered the song in english, the name being changed to "Feed The Fire", B-Side "I've Been Watchin' You".

In 1978, Châtelaine covered the song in French, entitled "Corps À Corps", on her eponymous album "Châtelaine".

Luv' recorded the song with the title "Don Juanita de carnaval" in 1978.

In 2008 a video of a performance of "Do It, Do It Again" appeared in the Doctor Who episode Midnight.

Raffaella Carrà also worked with Bob Sinclar on the single "Far l'Amore" which was released on YouTube on 17 March 2011. The song charted in different European countries.
