Reception

A Series of Steaks was a finalist for the 2017 Nebula Award for Best Novelette[1] the 2018 Hugo Award for Best Novelette,[2] and the 2018 Theodore Sturgeon Award.[3] Tangent Online commended Prasad's portrayal of Helena, and the overall "flow" of the story, but felt that it "drag(ged) a little in the middle."[4]

gollark: Every time I make a tool, I end up reading half of the materials bit of Materials & You for some reason.
