ATIV Software is a privately held company based in California[1] that develops the EventPilot® conference app for scientific and medical meetings for iOS, Android and web-based devices. EventPilot conference apps help large STEM meetings go paperless and reach sustainability goals.[2][3]

History

ATIV Software was co-founded by Silke Fleischer and Eric Converse in 2010[4] to provide native apps for events that save meeting organizers time and money.[5]

Products and Services

EventPilot - Scientific & Medical Conference app
In 2014, ATIV Software partnered with Radius Networks to incorporate iBeacon technology with EventPilot conference apps, enabling indoor positioning and proximity-aware notifications that send targeted messages to event attendees based on their indoor location.[6][7][8] In 2015, EventPilot released an interactive maps feature[9] and an online itinerary planner.[10]

RouteInside - Indoor Positioning System
RouteInside is an indoor positioning and wayfinding system designed for large convention centers, office buildings, campuses, or healthcare facilities.[11]

gollark: Much less horrible, generally, to just hook up an RPi to it for print handling.

gollark: Newer shinier laptops seem to omit those because rubber feet make it thicker and are not shiny.
gollark: My laptop has vents on the back presumably for air *intake*, and expels hot air out the bottom. It has some rubber feet to keep it off the surface.
gollark: Clearly what we need is some way to use disks for swap space.
