The school was founded in 1964 due to a need in electronic specialists in Veliko Tarnovo.[1]

Profiles today
- Computer systems and technologies. This program is studied in the school since 2007. Around 20-30 students learn computer programming, computer networks, computer hardware for 4 wears.
- Microprocessor electronics. 20-30 students studies for architecture of microchips and microprocessors. In the program are learning subjects like computer programming, analog electronics, digital electronics, signals and other.
- Electronics on the transport. Around 20 students studies about the electronics in vehicles (most automobiles). Also the students studies for the construction of automobiles.
