60 Minutos
60 Minutos (English: 60 Minutes) was a Chilean TV newscast which aired on TVN during the military government of Augusto Pinochet between 1975 and 1988.[1]

The program was conceived as an attempt to "reunify the Chilean people" and was first aired in 1976, being the first newscast from the public channel. Some of the well-known presenters were Julio López Blanco, Pepe Abad, Raúl Matas, Bernardo de la Maza, Raquel Argandoña, Eduardo Cruz-Johnson, Paulina Nin de Cardona, Margot Kahl, Juan Guillermo Vivado and Pedro Carcuro.
The program's most memorable broadcast was the live interview with Augusto Pinochet, immediately after his assassination attempt on 7 September 1986.
The show formed the basis for the satirical children's puppetry series 31 Minutos.
