2020–21 Indian cricket season
The 2020–21 Indian cricket season will be the 127th cricket season since the commencement of first-class cricket, List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket in India.

Paytm retained the title sponsorship of international and domestic Indian cricket tournaments for five years.[1] BCCI partnered with All India Radio for radio commentary of all international and selected domestic games for 2019–20 and 2020–21 season.[2]

Domestic
BCCI announced the domestic schedule in August 2020.[3] In this season a total of 1183 domestic games (less 853 games than previous season due to the COVID-19 pandemic) being played across various age groups in the men's and women's category.[4] But in a season that also has no place for 50-overs competitions like Vijay Hazare Trophy and Deodhar Trophy and the first-class match like Duleep Trophy and the Irani Cup.[5] Challenger Trophies for women's senior and junior find no place in the proposal.

The BCCI has decided to conduct junior level tournaments for men's like CK Nayudu Trophy, Cooch Behar Trophy and Vijay Merchant Trophy and for women's like U23 One Day League, U23 T20 League, U19 One Day League and U19 T20 League.[7][8] Challenger Trophies across all categories like men and women, senior and junior find no place in the proposal.[3]
Domestic Men's
Cooch Behar Trophy will be held from November to January. Vijay Merchant Trophy is being held from November to January. Col C K Nayudu Trophy will be held from December to March.
