2019 Saurashtra Premier League
The 2019 Saurashtra Premier League season was the inaugural season of the Saurashtra Premier League, established by the Saurashtra Cricket Association in 2019. The season commenced on 14 May 2019 with the final match held on 22 May 2019.[1] The competition started with a round robin group stage, in which each of the 5 teams played a match against every other team. These matches were followed by a final.

In a match which went down to the last ball, Sorath Lions defeated Zalawad Royals in the final to win the title, with Himalaya Barad named the player of the match and Chetan Sakariya adjudged the player of the tournament. Chetan Sakariya was the top wicket-taking bowler while Himalaya Barad and Sheldon Jackson were the leading run-scorers in the tournament.

Points in the group stage were awarded as follows:

In the event of tied scores after both teams have faced their quota of overs, a bowl-out will determine the winner, even in the group stage.[3]
In the group stage, teams will be ranked on the following criteria:[4]
- Higher number of points
- If equal, higher number of wins
- If still equal, net run rate
- If still equal, lower bowling strike rate
- If still equal, result of head to head meeting.
