gollark: Plus it kind of works as a templating engine, *but* doesn't do XSS protection.
gollark: Plus it works by just running files you navigate to, which is bad for stuff like REST APIs.
gollark: I think PHP FPM or whatever keeps a pool of executor processes around, but you appear to not be using that.

gollark: Well, in the usual PHPy systems, every single time someone sends a request, a new processes is spun up to respond to it.
