1959 Uruguayan flood

In April 1959, Uruguay suffered floods (Spanish: Inundaciones de abril de 1959 en Uruguay) that were the most severe in the modern history of Uruguay.

Rainfall lasted from March 24 till April 23 and as a consequence the Río Negro suffered an overtopping. Waters passed over the Dam of Rincón del Bonete.

La inundación fué el 29 de abril e 1959, emergió del rio Uruguay y Paraná, mato a mucha gente, destruyo miles de hogares. Este desastre natural dejó sin hogar a miles de personas, nadie se salvó,sientos y sientos de personas fallesieron.
