1887 Wimbledon Championships – Gentlemen's Doubles

Patrick Bowes-Lyon and Herbert Wilberforce defeated E. Barratt-Smith and James Crispe 7–5, 6–3, 6–2 in the All Comers' Final to win the Gentlemen' Doubles tennis title at the 1887 Wimbledon Championships.[1][2] The reigning champions Ernest Renshaw and William Renshaw were unable to defend their title due to William suffering from tennis elbow.[3]

gollark: As of now it's not remotely dependent on the quality of the meme, just how many people decided it was something which might make money.

gollark: It's just not very well-designed in the first place. This is, so far as I can tell, basically the only way to make money, outside of posting a meme and hoping that some foolish person invests in it.
