11th Infantry Division (Thailand)
The 11th Infantry Divistion (Thai: กองพลทหารราบที่ 11) (พล.ร.๑๑.) is an Light infantry and Mechanized infantry division of the Royal Thai Army, it is currently a part of the First Army Area The unit is composed of the 111th Infantry Regiment and 112th Infantry Regiment.

History
In the middle of 2017, the National Defense Council approved the plan to enhance the integrity of the 11th Infantry Divistion in Chachoengsao province as a "Light Infantry Divistion" for the Army. Have the right combat units Sufficient to carry out the mission as originally assigned The 11th Infantry Divistion established the unit on June 29, 1981 for use as land force. Is the commanding unit of the First Army Area. Until 2002, the 11th Infantry Division went directly to the National Guard. Before splitting into a new Divistion, the location of the 11th Infantry Divistion Fort Somdet Phra Nangklao is Bang Tippet Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province. There are two Regiment which are the 111th Infantry Regiment and 112th Infantry Regiment.
11th Infantry Divistion is a standard infantry Divistion that contains only the structure rate. But the organization And the weapons were not complete Which takes ten years according to the action plan Will fill the previous manpower rate. General 11th Infantry Divistion is like a reserve force unit. Therefore, not much of a role When compared to the 2nd Infantry Division
In May 2019 Royal Thai Army ordered 37 refurbished M1126 Infantry Carrier Vehicles from U.S. Army and will also receive 23 more M1126 vehicles.[1] Around 60 Strykers were delivered to Bangkok via C-17s with an option to include 30 more Strykers free of charge while Thai military personnel will be trained in the US to learn about operating the vehicles.[2]

Equipment
RTA ordered 60 "refurbished" Stryker armoured vehicles, worth US$80 million, from the U.S.army. Thailand planned to acquire 60 more of this vehicle.[3]
