İstanbullu Gelin (Bride of Istanbul) is a 2017 Turkish television series produced by Cengiz Çağatay and directed by Zeynep Günay Tan.[1] It is adapted from Dr. Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu’s book "Hayata Dön" (Return to Life).

Plot

Faruk and Süreyya fall in love in Istanbul, get married and move to Faruk's mother's ancestral home in Bursa. Süreyya consistently tries to win the affections of her conventional mother-in-law, who has never left the walls of her mansion and manages her family with her own rules. In the new season, the Boran family loses their home, inheritance and are faced with the struggles of accepting their modest lifestyle.
