Woodyams
Woodyams were edible root vegetables found in the Deepwoods. It was eaten in a popular breakfast dish called cobbley, a favorite of Freeglade Lancers. Cobbley consisted of fried woodyams, served with wild mushrooms, kaleleaf, and chopped rashers of smoked tilder. Rufus Filatine and his comrades ate this dish with the woodyams before a morning patrol; it was prepared by the Gyles and Degg Fledder.[1]
