Woodwasp (skycraft)

The Woodwasp was a skycraft carved and used by the slaughterer Knuckle; modeled after a woodwasp, he used it during The Last of the Sky Pirates. It was through the relationship of Knuckle and the Woodwasp that Rook Barkwater - who had previously been saved by Knuckle from a logworm - learnt the importance of a strong affinity between skycraft and rider, marvelling at the way the slaughterer talked to his craft as though it were alive.
