Woodowls

Woodowls were a species of owl found in the Deepwoods. They would screech in a manner that could easily evoke fear in those not used to the noises of the Deepwoods. They were cunning and often gathered loudly to plan their next hunt. Their roosting ground were referred to as "Shankir". The to-be Sub-deans of Sanctaphrax were often compared to woodowls, because like these animals, they had to be clever, cunning and noisy.
