Woodcamphor

Woodcamphor was a smelly plant found in the Deepwoods, and had a distinctive scent familiar to any librarian, along with the smell of bark-mildew. The unknown librarian apprentice smelled woodcamphor when he visited the New Great Library to find Arboris Helquix's treatise on sweetwood.[1]

The smell of woodcamphor and tallow was said to hang around Seftus Leprix during the events of The Curse of the Gloamglozer.

Trivia

  • Camphor is a white or transparent solid found in several plants such as rosemary and the camphor laurel.
