Woodalmonds

Woodalmonds were nuts found in the Deepwoods. The distinctive scent of toasted almonds always accompanied the use of stormphrax and hinted at potential storms that produced it in the Twilight Woods. Most storms smelled like toasted woodalmonds, as mentioned in The Immortals, as did the mixture of bloodoak and phraxdust that was filled in Vox's Baby in Vox. Rook could remember the smell very clearly because it was distinctive.
