Twilight madness was an ailment which affected any beings which entered the Twilight Woods, with the exception of Shrykes. The bewitching twilight glow of the woods caused the unfortunate victims to slowly lose the functions of their brain, including their memory, sanity and thought. Since the Woods also prevented death, the bodies of the victims decay as time passes. The only cure is to leave the Woods as soon as possible before the damage becomes permanent. Ones who leave the Twilight Woods are called Death-Cheaters.
