Tree-slugs

Tree-slugs were edible molluscs found in the Deepwoods. They were mentioned in The Slaughterers' Quest in one of Keris' letters. Apparently, because the provisions of the travelling webfoot goblins and her were running short, they had lived on tree-slugs and bark fungus for the last two weeks.
