The Caterbird (skycraft)

The Caterbird was Phineal Glyfphith's skycraft. Phineal, a protector of the Ancient One of the Water, the Great Blueshell Clam, was inspired to carve his skycraft as a caterbird, the Ancient One of the sky. The Caterbird was rather unusual because it had two seats on either side of the skycraft, making it possible to transport two people comfortably and to steer from both sides. Even though skycrafts were replaced by phraxships in the Third Age of Flight the Webfoot Goblins continued to use the wooden skycrafts, sometimes beating the modern phraxships in speed and battle as shown in Doombringer.
