The Snetterbarks were relatives of the Snatchwood family, whom Twig, Selma and Tumtum were a part of, Twig was going to stay with the Snetterbarks when he left his home to evade the Sky Pirates in Beyond the Deepwoods.

Not much is known about them as Twig never made it to their Village, yet we know they were some of the finest loggers in the Deepwoods.
