Silver grass

Silver grass was a type of grass that grew in open fields in the Deepwoods. Presumably, the Silver Pastures consisted mostly of the silver grass that gave the name to the seemingly silver fields. It grew alongside pasture grass. Keris Barkwater described it as a "great sea", which implies that the grass was very tall. It was mentioned in The Slaughterer's Quest.
