Professor of Fogprobing

The Professor of Fogprobing was one of the older Sanctaphrax academics in the First Age of Flight.

During his visit to Sanctaphrax in Stormchaser, Twig overheard a conversation in which somebody said they would put a suggestion to the Professor of Fogprobing, suggesting he was a senior figure.

When Sanctaphrax was evacuated in anticipation of the Mother Storm's arrival, the Professor of Fogprobing was one of the academics who refused to leave. He presumably died at some point after the anchor chain was cut and the city flew off into Open Sky.
