Old Mother Hivewater
Old Mother Hivewater was an elderly mobgnome tending to the Hivewaters hot-tubs in Hive. She wore a large padded cap and a long apron which was festooned with small pouches and bundles wrapped in cloth, and protected her hands with heavy protective gauntlets. Her job consisted of heating stones in the fire, then putting them into water-filled lufwood tubs, in which she sprinkled herbs. She had a croaking voice. In The Immortals, when Mother Hivewater had prepared a hot herb bath for a grey trog, a small tufted goblin and a sallow-faced fourthling, the Copperwood Gang stole their clothing: burnished copperwood helmets, white waistcoats, grey topcoats and dark grey breeches[1].
