Nate Quarter's first descending expedition

The first descent of Nate Quarter and Ambris Hentadile took place in c. 601 ᴇ.ʏ.. Over the course of eight days, they travelled down to the Howler and back to the surface.[1]

Events

The descent followed the same route as the start of Ifflix Hentadile's descent two years earlier, using the stakes and spikes hammered into the rock by the earlier expedition.[2]

After the one hour, Ambris and Nate discovered a small ledge which they decided to rest on for the night. They continued descending for a few more days until they reached a cleft which they named the Howler. At this point, the pair decided to turn back.[1]
