Mud-demons

Mud-demons were creatures Twig Verginix believed existed. When Twig saw something sneaking up behind Maugin in the Mire through his spyglass, he briefly thought it might be a mud-demon before realizing it was actually Screedius Tollinix covered in mud.[1]
