Lakes-skimmers

Lakes-skimmers were flying insects found around Deepwoods lakes. They darted across the surface of lakes similarly to stormhornets, in both the day and night. While being found all over the Four Lakes, they were seen most commonly around the Shimmerer, and it was their trails in the water that were the namesake of the lake itself.[1]
