Gladeonions

Gladeonions, sometimes called glade onions or glade-onions[1] were bitter, strong-tasting root vegetables found in the glades of the Deepwoods. They were used for cooking and spicing and thus also cultivated in the cities like Great Glade, including at the Copperwood allotments[2]. When dried, they could be preserved for long journeys, so were kept by Zelphyius Dax on his skycraft. Cade Quarter also grew them in his garden and liked them added to nibblick soup along with lake lettuce.[3]

They were similar to glimmer-onions.
