Bough-runners
Bough-runners were fat-bodied birds with fanned tails, small wings and long powerful legs, which they used to leap from branch to branch like Prowlgrins. They were found in the Deepwoods, notably the Farrow Ridges, where they roosted in ironwood pines and lufwoods. They were hunted for food and for their tail feathers, which could be used as quills.
Appearances
In Weird New Worlds, Hedgethorn Lammergyre was hunting bough-runners when he discovered a nameless one hatchling. Though the nameless one was only of knee-height compared to the grey goblin, he swallowed the bough-runner in one gulp.
