Barkshrooms

Barkshrooms were edible Deepwoods mushrooms similar to bark fungus. They were mentioned in The Slaughterers' Quest in one of Keris' letters. She toasted them round the fire with log-grubs in the night around a campfire much like we would do with marshmallows.
