Barksalamanders

A Barksalamander

Barksalamanders were amphibious creatures found around the Farrow Ridges.

In Weird New Worlds, Hedgethorn Lammergyre named these creatures after discovering one on a foraging trip. They were edible and tasted good when marinated in woodgrog and seasoned with nibblick. Their leather could be used for clothing; it took about thirty salamanders to make a jacket.
