Update JAVA 8 Update 60 to Update 65 or 66?

0

I had Java 8 Update 60 on my systezm & it told me there was an update to update 65, so i have updated. However there also is Update 66, yett Java on my system doesn’t want/need to update to that version. The Java.com site also only offers update 65. Only on Oracle.com both Update 65 & 66 are offered. Should i manually use the installer from oracle.com website to update to version 65, or should i wait until Java on my system offers me to install this update/ Java.com offers this update ?

There's not really a reason to advice for it nor is there one to advice against it. It is more common for java.com to skip a few updates before releasing a critical update build. – LPChip – 2015-10-31T11:55:56.347

Look at the release note for the two versions and make your own decision. – DavidPostill – 2015-10-31T13:16:16.427

Java for at least the last year will remove the previous version before installing the version you are attempting to install. If Update 66 is available you should install that. – Ramhound – 2015-10-31T14:36:55.653
