Strange video behaviour

3

I have a video made by my mobile phone (Huawei Honor - Android 2.3).

I haven't problems with them some time ago. Unfortunately, I have now and I don't know why.

I'm using Linux Mint 17. When trying to play it with VLC, it crashes:

VLC media player 2.1.6 Rincewind (revision 2.1.6-0-gea01d28)

With all other videos, I have, it works fine. Kaffeine media player plays it, but without audio. I have also tried windows machine - it was able to play it, however, was not able to jump within the video.

It works fine under VLC 2.2.1 in Arch Linux and the mobile phone.

What can I do? Thanks for your help in advance.
