A very handy UI indeed.
However, I visit more than 8 sites regularly, and would like to increase this amount WITHOUT using any extensions or addons.
Is there not a setting within Google Chrome that allows you to determine this? Or, as an alternate, simply and easily let you choose how many, and what, is displayed?

Essentially this is a duplicate of http://superuser.com/q/16824/116196 - but I think enough time has passed/ versions have been released that it shouldn't be closed as duplicate. Though, I'm pretty sure the answer is still the same. Actually, here's google documentation that it isn't possible.
